Environcares Industrial IoT, operated by WARPNEST VENTURES ("Environcares", "we", "us", "our"), is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits our website (environcares.in), uses our IoT monitoring platform, or engages our operation and maintenance services.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It is designed to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and associated rules applicable in India.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Contact details, name, organisation, email address and phone number when you fill our contact or demo request forms, apply for a job, or correspond with us.
• Business information, details about your facilities, infrastructure and requirements shared during consultations, tenders or contracts.
• Recruitment information, CVs, qualifications and references when you apply for a role.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data, pages visited, time on site, referring pages, and approximate location derived from IP address.
• Device data, browser type, operating system and screen size, used to make the website work well on your device.
• Platform logs, for registered platform users, login events and feature usage for security and support purposes.

3. How We Use Information

• To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and provide demonstrations.
• To deliver, operate and support our monitoring platform and O&M services.
• To send service notifications, alerts and reports you have subscribed to.
• To improve our website, products and services.
• To process job applications.
• To comply with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

4. IoT & Plant Data

Telemetry generated by sensors at your facilities, tank levels, flow rates, water quality parameters, energy data and equipment status, is your data. Our role is that of a data processor:

• Plant data is used solely to provide the monitoring, alerting, analytics and reporting services you have contracted.
• We may use aggregated, anonymised data (never identifiable to your organisation or site) to improve analytics models and publish industry benchmarks.
• On contract closure, we provide a complete export of your historical data in open formats before deletion, as described in our Cancellation Policy.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We share information only with:

• Service providers, cloud hosting, communications (SMS/email delivery) and analytics vendors bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
• Regulators and authorities, where disclosure is required by law, court order, or for statutory compliance reporting you have engaged us to perform.
• Professional advisers, auditors and legal counsel under duties of confidence.

6. Data Security

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest for platform data.
• Role-based access control, least-privilege administration and audit logging.
• Hosting on reputable enterprise cloud infrastructure with physical and network safeguards.
• Periodic security reviews and prompt patching of vulnerabilities.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months after last contact. Contractual and financial records are retained per statutory requirements. Platform telemetry is retained per your service agreement.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act, 2023), you may:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request erasure of data no longer required.
• Withdraw consent for processing based on consent.
• Nominate a person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
• Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

Our website and services are intended for professional audiences and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
